venice daze

family beach day

mom and tevia came in town for the weekend. coming from 115 degree weather, they were ready for some beach time. little did they know it would be 65 degrees. so...we went to lula's. more then once :)

i woke up this morning fully aware of what i had just dreamt.  it seemed way too real.  inception may have had something to do with this, the movie planted a tiny seed in the back of my mind. sometimes i like my dreams so much that i purposely put myself right back into them if i have woken up. i go to sleep to recharge, rest, relax, but i also go to sleep to dream.

sometimes i really just love where i'm at.  

words of advice:

 

1. Take every opportunity  you can to bike in Venice. in flip flops.
2. It is always ok to eat ice cream, even when its cold outside.
3. Own a library card. No explanation needed.
4.There is absolutely nothing wrong with checking out blogs from your phone. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. (you know you you are blogger phoner hater ;)
5.Never trust anyone who doesn't like the Beatles.
6. If you're going to live in a motor home in Venice, make sure it is the tallest and most colorful home on the block!
